ANALYZE – define the decision question

Current-state/target-state analysis, KPI definition, brand values, Brand Suitability and Brand Safety are clarified before measurement. A traffic-source audit can additionally show which baseline must be assessed.

DETECT – inspect delivery and traffic

Detection combines in-ad and on-site analysis with campaign-parameter review. Depending on scope, this includes human/bot signals, viewability, frequency capping, GEO, device share and Brand Safety anomalies.

REPORT – separate finding, evidence and limitations

Reports should do more than aggregate percentages. They document relevant domains, supply and traffic signals, paid-vs-organic context, brand risks and those areas that cannot be assessed confidently because measurement is unavailable.

ELIMINATE – reduce problematic sources

Evidence is converted into operational rules: inclusion/exclusion lists, removal of dubious domains or inefficient sources, reduction of confirmed bot patterns and alignment with brand and campaign KPIs.

OPTIMIZE – improve budget and governance

Budget is focused on sources with a higher share of confirmed human activity and better quality. Supply Path Optimization, concrete recommendations, training, second opinions and technical supplier support feed the findings back into the ongoing media process.

Why the loop matters more than the tool

Measurement without action is reporting. Action without renewed measurement is assumption. The framework is therefore cyclical: after optimization, traffic quality, supply chain and media efficiency are checked again.

Methodological note

This article describes principles and questions. Specific fraud, bot or quality rates cannot be transferred directly to individual campaigns without understanding methodology, scope and data basis.
