Concentrate supply sources

In Fou’s examples, a small number of exchanges account for most impressions. Reducing unnecessary sources can lower complexity, arbitrage opportunities and the number of possible failure paths.

Prefer inclusion lists to endless blocklists

Rather than maintaining ever larger lists of bad domains and apps, Fou recommends prioritizing known environments with evidence of human use. Inclusion lists still need measurement because domain or app spoofing remains possible.

Use device and OS patterns as planning evidence

Fou also examines which devices and operating systems over-index among real site visitors and higher-quality impressions. Such patterns can inform planning but should not be generalized without audience and market context.

Move from human delivery to attentiveness

After reducing fraud and increasing human delivery, on-site behavior can become an additional relative optimization signal. Sources whose visitors continue to interact after the click can be given more weight in future planning.

Measurement remains a feedback loop

FouAnalytics does not automatically block or plan media. Analytics provide evidence; advertisers and advisers decide which exchanges, sites, apps, devices and channels fit the business strategy.

Methodological note

This article describes principles and questions. Specific fraud, bot or quality rates cannot be transferred directly to individual campaigns without understanding methodology, scope and data basis.
