In-ad: what actually reached the device?

The FouAnalytics tag executes with the ad or delivery environment. This makes it possible to inspect technically observable delivery after rendering and connect it with signals around device, browser, viewability, geography, frequency and other parameters.

On-site: what happens after the click or visit?

A separate JavaScript tag on the destination site can examine traffic sources, technical plausibility and other project-specific signals. This allows paid traffic to be compared with on-site behavior and – depending on setup – organic/direct context.

No cookies and no PII

The documented methodology states that no cookies are stored and no personally identifiable information is required or stored. Technical observation therefore does not depend on personal profiles.

Anonymized signal fingerprint

Measured technical parameters are aggregated. Hashed data such as browser or device type are used to create an anonymized proprietary fingerprint for forensic classification. According to the methodology, no cross-device tracking is performed.

Server and dataflow

The documented in-ad and on-site dataflows route signals through a server in Frankfurt into the FouAnalytics dashboard. Actual implementation, data flows, retention and contractual privacy requirements must be documented for each project setup.

Measurement coverage remains part of the finding

Not every platform or technical environment allows the same observation depth. A credible audit therefore states what could be measured directly, which signals were unavailable and where indirect evidence or additional review is required.

Methodological note

This article describes principles and questions. Specific fraud, bot or quality rates cannot be transferred directly to individual campaigns without understanding methodology, scope and data basis.
